STACKIT is a small app run by one person. It holds the least it can get away with, it does not sell anything about you, and it carries no advertising or tracking of any kind.
An email address, and a note of how you signed in. If you sign in with Apple, Google or Discord, that service confirms who you are and passes back your email address and, where you have one, a name and picture — STACKIT never sees your password for any of them. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, STACKIT only ever gets the relay address, which is the point of that feature and works fine here.
This exists so your squads, friends and history are still yours the next time you open the app, and so you can be told when a seat you wanted has opened.
Your display name, the tags other players need to add you on the platforms you play on, your avatar, and the games, modes and ranks you have added to your loadout. If you upload a photo instead of using one of the built-in avatars, that image is stored so it can be shown on your card. Everything here is something you typed or chose, and all of it can be changed or cleared from the You tab.
Squad chat messages, the squads you create or join, and the standing requests you leave running when you are not in the app. Messages are stored so the conversation is still there when you come back to it, and so the people in the squad with you can read it.
Ratings players give each other after a run, and reports or blocks you make. This is the only way an app like this stays usable: it is what puts the people who actually turn up in front of each other, and what makes it possible to act on someone who is abusive. Reports are read by the person who runs STACKIT and can lead to an account being suspended.
If you allow notifications, your device gives STACKIT an anonymous token so it can be told when a squad fills or a friend comes online. Turning notifications off in your device settings removes it.
Whether your subscription is active, so Pro follows your account rather than one handset. Purchases are handled entirely by your device's app store — STACKIT never sees or holds your card, your billing address, or any part of your payment details.
When something goes wrong, a crash report is sent so it can be fixed, along with basic timings such as how long the app took to start. These carry the device model and operating system version and are not attached to your account. They are diagnostics, not a record of you.
STACKIT uses a small number of outside services to work at all. None of them are given your information for their own purposes.
STACKIT is a place for meeting people, so some of it is meant to be seen: your display name, avatar, the games and ranks on your loadout, your gamer tags, your reputation, and whether you are online and what you are on for. Anything you type in a squad chat is visible to everyone in that squad. Your email address is never shown to another player.
Your account and profile are kept for as long as the account exists. Deleting your account from inside the app removes your profile, your avatar, your loadout, your standing requests and your friendships. Messages you sent may remain visible to the people you sent them to, without your name attached — the same way a conversation does not vanish from the other person's phone.
Records connected to a suspension or an abuse report may be kept after the account is gone, because otherwise a ban is undone by making a new account. Crash reports age out on their own within 90 days.
You may also ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for something to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by writing to the address below. Wherever you live, that request will be honoured — there is no need to establish that a particular law applies to you first.
STACKIT is not intended for children under 13, and accounts are not knowingly created for them. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, write to the address below and it will be removed.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it and the app will say so. Continuing to use STACKIT after that means the new version applies.
