Using STACKIT means agreeing to what is on this page. It is written to be read rather than skipped, and it is short because there is not much to it: turn up, do not be a problem, and the app is yours to use.
You must be at least 13 years old. If the place you live sets a higher age for agreeing to something like this on your own, you need to be that age instead, or have a parent or guardian agree for you.
One person, one account. The details on your profile should be true — not because anybody is checking your paperwork, but because the whole app runs on other players being able to trust that the rank and the tag on your card are yours.
STACKIT exists to put strangers in a squad together, which only works if it is bearable to be in one. Do not:
Squad voice is carried directly between the phones in the room and is never recorded, which means nobody can go back and check what was said. Behave in it as you would in chat. If someone is abusive in voice, report them — reports are read, and a pattern is visible even when a single moment is not.
Your messages, your profile and your pictures belong to you. By posting them you give STACKIT only what it needs in order to run: permission to store them and show them to the people you sent them to, for as long as your account exists. That permission ends when you delete the content or the account. It is never used for anything else, and nothing you post is used to advertise anything.
Players rate each other after a run and can report or block each other. Those ratings shape who gets put in front of whom, which is the point of them.
An account can be suspended or removed for anything on this page, and for anything else that makes the app materially worse for the people in it. Serious cases happen immediately; otherwise there is normally a warning first. If you think a suspension is wrong, write to the address at the bottom — that mail is read by the person who runs STACKIT and a mistake will be undone.
Every game in the catalogue is free to everybody. Pro adds capacity rather than content: running up to four searches at once, and priority when a seat opens.
Pro is a subscription that renews on its own until it is cancelled. The purchase, the renewal, the cancellation and any refund are all handled by your device's app store, under that store's rules, and are managed in your device's own subscription settings. STACKIT never handles the money and cannot take a payment or issue a refund itself. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the time already paid for runs out as normal. If the price ever changes, your store will tell you before it is charged.
STACKIT is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any game publisher, console maker or gaming platform. Game names, modes and ranks appear only so players can say what they are on for. Your account on any of those services is governed by that service's own rules, not by these.
STACKIT introduces you to strangers. It checks nobody's identity and vouches for nobody. Use the same judgement you would anywhere online: do not hand out personal details, and do not take a squadmate's word for anything that matters. Blocking someone stops them reaching you.
Features can change or be removed, and the service can be taken down. Reasonable notice will be given before anything paid for stops working, and no attempt will be made to keep charging for something that no longer exists.
STACKIT is provided as it is. It cannot promise that a squad will fill, that voice will connect on every network, or that the service will be available without interruption. To the fullest extent the law allows, STACKIT is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and any liability that cannot be excluded is limited to what you have paid in the twelve months before the problem arose. Nothing here removes rights you have under the law where you live, including any consumer rights that cannot be signed away.
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app. Doing that does not automatically cancel Pro — cancel that in your device's subscription settings, or it keeps renewing.
If these terms change, the date at the top changes and the app says so. If you carry on using STACKIT after that, the new version is the one that applies. If you would rather not accept it, delete your account.
